Jantar Mantar : A historical place or a protest arena ©

No one would have ever imagined that a historical place will be known for any other thing rather than It's beauty but jantar mantar have made it happen to many extent .Every historical place have it's own story and architect, Jantar mantar was well known for it's architectural work but from last some years it has became popular for something else, and that is the growth in numbers of protests. Jantar mantar have became a protest hub instead of a historical place.

   A bunch of 8-12 groups came here daily for protesting and to fight for their rights.A flock of tents remain standing here throughout the year.Peoples protesting here, eats,sleeps and stays in these tents, some for 1-2 days some for weeks and some for years.......
     Some groups have legitimate demands and some have illegitimate.Some valid demands were met and some are not even heard.The whole environment there,sometimes reminds of the past years when we were not independent,persons yelling on the mic. in the same way as our leaders used to do, giving lectures in  high tone and the same type of anger but all these things are not for nation now,they all are for their own advantage,as said earlier some legitimate and mostly illegitimate.

  Apart from the Anshan , this place now have became a good place for earning too as many of the small scale vendors earn their bread here.There exists more than a dozen small scale vendors in here, from pakoda seller to chai wala, from a flag seller to topi seller, all earns their bread from this place.
  The funny part is, some people protest against the erroneous topics, like I've witnessed that a group of 15-20 "LADIES" were protesting against the charges imposed on "ASHARAM"... some were protesting against the charges on "sant rampal"..... this is also a part of protest on jantar mantar..
  Although,nothing happens in the premises of jantar mantar or rarely happens but now when anyone hears the name of jantar mantar,they instantly connects the place with that of protests.Watching the conditions I think Jantar mantar should be renamed  as A PLACE OF PROTEST.
